By preparing the leads/contacts data analysis to include in your marketing plans, and thanks to the feedback from Italy, we noticed on Monday with Maylys that the sut-ups done in Marketo to inactivate and then delete the leads that correspond to inactive contacts in Salesforce are not working well.
Therefore, we have put in place an operational campaign that will clean these leads every day, and this should now work (including leads attached to accounts inactivated in Salesforce).
Note that contacts without any activity in the last 12 months will be deleted in Marketo . FYI Stella Zamprogno 😉
For your information, this night about 450 leads/inactive contacts will be deleted from Marketo and please find the number concerned per country below:

Hi Marina, thanks for your explanation and thanks for the operational campaign!
I need to clarify the issue "Note that contacts without any activity in the last 12 months will be deleted in Marketo"; what do you mean for any activity? spontaneus web activity or a direct involment by local marketing in marketo program? I suppose the second one but I would like to be sure.
In this case I am not sure is a good idea: we have some job functions (for istance Employee/user) that we rarely involved in our actions but in some cases - launch of a new sw version - it may be useful to involve to present them the new features of the sw.
Normally we launch a new verson per year, if Ithey disappera after 12 months I risk not to inform the users about the new version or I miss the opportunity to invite them in a roadshow/presentation. What do you think? Thanks a lot. Stella
