I won't be there the coming days, so you can contact Juliette Caillebotte (firstname.lastname@example.org).
You can book a meeting with her on thrusday or friday to work on the layout and the save the date send out
Hi Margaux and Marina MASSONET,
today the Politecnico save the date was sent (thanks!).
I monitored in particular the list softbounced and I saw that many leads who are in the campaign "opened" are also in the soufbounce list. I went to see the actity log and I can see only the change of status from delivered to open. Maybe the aswer is on the skipped status unchanged that is in between? if yes.....what does it means? thanks a lot.
The soft bounce doesn't appear in the activity log, because the email was actually delivered.
There is no campaign for a specific status "soft bounce" so you will not see that in the activity log (same for hard bounce, there is no status for that but you will see invalid email or spam or something like that).
There is no change in the profile so it's not in the activity log, because soft bounce is a temporary step.
Is this clear?
we have a lead in marketo (Grazia Lionetti) who filed the form to attend the politecnico event - afternoon session.
we can track her in marketo but she is not in SFDC maybe because the score is 33. But I was told that when a lead fills a form the score is 50 pts, what happended? please notice that the +39 phone number is correct.
thanks a lot
For events, the score is linked to the status.
If the status of the person change to register, he/she will gain 10 points and if the status changed to attended, he/she should gain 35 more points.
Regarding filling out a contact form, it's +40 points and a content form, it's +35 points.
Could you please confirm me that the name of your form in your event program contains "registration" and not "contact" or "content"?
Finally, the score to be sync to SFDC is 75 points minimum. This would explain why this lead is only visible in Marketo.
Thanks Margaux now it's clearer.
In the Marina doc "how to qualify a lead" was written that "filled out form generates 50 pts" but was not specified if we were speaking about a form to gate a content, contact form or something else, specify that among "forms" there are some score differences is quite important.
In any case it's quite funny that a lead totally unknown to us registered for an event but the account manager cannot see him....I can force the passage to SFDC but is not logical in my opinion. I confirm you that the name of the form for this event is "registration" but I am seriuosly think to change it next time with "content" so I can see my leads in marketo.
have a nice day!
Dear Stella Zamprogno,
First of all, thank you for having seen the error in my post on the marketing qualification step. Below is the correction in bold.
Then, please don't name a form 'Contact' in Marketo if it is for a content request or for an event registration. Otherwise, this will cause problem in the operational campaigns in the Admin part of Marketo.
If you want to push a lead to sales even of the score is not high enough, I remind you that you can give the lead name to the Marketo team and we will do it for you (using lync or email).
Thanks Marina but in Politecnico case the only form a can see is the Fo_registration_IT and I cannot see the word "contact" no where, could you please give an example? thanks a lot
