Issue Description When using a Change Data Value flow step for a datetime field type and manually entering in a date and time, the time is displayed, but removed from flow step upon refresh. Issue Resolution   The reason that the time is removed is because the display field in the flow step is a calendar picker (the drop-down). Calendar pickers do not support displaying the time. It is meant to select a date on the calendar and display that date. It appears to store the value to the record when manually entered in the field, but it will not remain upon campaign refresh.

Issue: When selecting multiple values in a string field, it only shows 300 entries in the 'Select...' window. This is a article attached image NOTE: This is expected behavior, we have limited the number of records to show to 300.   Workaround: If there is a value that is not in the 'Selected Values' window, you will need to start typing in the 'Select...'field so the autosuggest will start to filter the values, whatever value that is not already selected in the 'Selected Values'window, will show up in the 'Select...' window.

Issue An anonymous lead triggers a Smart Campaign that includes a Change Program Status flow step.  Instead of adding the anonymous lead to the program, you get an error, "Cannot add an anonymous lead to a program."     Solution Anonymous leads can not be added to programs, but they can trigger Smart Campaigns that include a Visits Web Page trigger.  If you want to capture these anonymous leads and add them to the program once they become known, add the following to your campaign. A "Lead is Created" trigger - this trigger will fire when the anonymous lead becomes known. A "Visited Web Page" filter with the specific page you are looking for. You may wish to add a Date of Activity constrain to the "Visited Web Page" filter if you do not want leads that visited the page too long ago to be added to the program.

Issue There is a noticeable delay between when campaign is run and affected person records are updated and activity records are written to.   Solution Check the Campaign Queue.  If the affected campaign is backlogged in the queue, the only resolution is to wait for higher priority jobs to clear.  To check the Campaign Queue go into the Marketing Activities tile and click on the Campaign Queue Tab.   Campaign queue is read only and cannot be reordered. Plan accordingly with very large campaigns to give time to process during off hours or slow times.

Issue You have an unsubscribe option in your email preference center but would like to allow people to re-subscribe as well. Solution Depending on your preference center set up, setting up the re-subscribe choices will vary a bit.  However, on the back end, it is pretty simple. On the preference center form, create one or more fields that the customer can check to resubscribe. In Marketo, create a Smart Campaign. The trigger will be Data Value Change for the field(s) you set up for  re-subscribe. The flow will be Change Data Value, attribute: Unsubscribed, new value is 'False'. This should allow Marketo to start sending emails to that lead again.

Issue What is the difference between Program Status Vs. Person Status? Solution Person Status is an attribute on a record and is an over all status for the record. An example would be a lead that has MQL or Marketing Qualified status. Program Status is the status a lead is in within a program. An example for an lead would be in a trade show or any event type program. This would have a program status of "Invited" or Registered. A single lead can have multiple program statuses, one for each program membership they have. A great way to look at it is, I have a Monthly membership to the Gym and a premium membership to the local warehouse club. I have multiple memberships and statuses for those memberships.. However my "Person Status" is different, I am for example licensed to drive in the state I live. My status is either licensed or not..

Issue A recent Smart Campaign or Email Program sent Person records in Marketo more emails than should be allowed based on settings in Communication Limit Settings in the Admin area of Marketo. Solution This is commonly caused by one of three things: The emails that sent after the communication limit was hit were Operational. To verify if this is the case, select the email asset from the menu tree on the left and review the summary of the asset in the canvas where you will see if the email is Operational or not. The Block non-operational emails checkbox is not checked in Edit Communication Limit Settings. Setting values the "Per Day" and "Per 7 Days" dropdown menus does not enforce the communication limit. In order for this limit to be enforced, the "Block non-operational emails" checkbox must be checked.  Enable Communication Limits The Email Program or Smart Campaign are not set up to follow Communication Limits. Apply Communication Limits to Smart Campaign Enable/Disable Communication Limits in an Email Program

Issue You are trying to add a new stream to an Engagement Program but get an error stating that your program has reached maximum number of streams per program. Solution Due to engineering constraints and as well as to have better user experience, we have limited the number of Engagement Program Streams per program to 25.  When you try to add  26 th stream, you will now get the error message “You have reached the maximum number of streams. Create another program”. So the solution is to create a separate Engagement Program and a Smart Campaign that moves leads from the original Engagement Program to the new one.
