Add Engagement Stream Membership in Contact Record

This idea is to add a new field or place within a Contact Record to show where that contact is a member. This concept would be in addition to another idea submitted about the ability to add a column to a List View regarding membership.

There is currently nothing available in the contact record. Looking at each Engagement program does not tell me who is NOT included in that program. Creating a list based on Member of Engagement Stream using either True or False gives me everyone or no one. Surely there is a way to do this. Thanks.

...Seems like you could do this now with a Salesforce custom field that would then sync down to Marketo bundled with trigger-based workflow watching for when someone is added to a stream...

if you create a new Marketo custom field and write to it with a smart campaign would it then be exposed to the API?
