If you aren't seeing your calls log to Salesforce, it might be because we cannot locate a Lead/Contact in Salesforce. For calls to log to the correct Lead/Contact, ToutApp needs to have the Salesforce ID. The best way to add the Salesforce ID to ToutApp is by using our Push to Tout https://nation.marketo.com/docs/DOC-5331feature. When you use Push to Tout we will include the Salesforce ID in the contact migration .

Our Push to Tout button will take a list of your Leads/Contacts in Salesforce and push these contacts into a group in ToutApp. From here, you can quickly send off a customizable group email with Tout tracking attached. You can Push to Tout from list views of Leads/Contacts Requirements ToutApp Salesforce package installed by Salesforce Admin Push to Tout button installed to list view by Salesforce Admin Salesforce Connection made with ToutApp for user making the Push How To 1) Click on the Lead/Contact tab in Salesforce 2)Toggle to the List View you would like to Push to Tout next to the Go button 3) Click Go 4) Select all the leads/contacts you want to be pushed to tout 5) Select Push to Tout 6) A new window will appear verifying the number of Leads/Contacts you would like to push over. Select 'Proceed to Group'. Toutapp will not push over any contacts marked as Email Opt Out in Salesforce or Unsubscribed in ToutApp. ToutApp will add this group titled "SFDC-......" to the Relationships page on toutapp.com. From here just select "Email Entire Group" to send out this group email! It's as simple as that!

With our Campaigns feature when you create a new template, you simply add the "last_email_body" dynamic field to the bottom of your template and that will automatically thread the emails together in the campaign.

To share a template, open up the template and click the green Share button. This will allow you to share with everyone or a select sub-team you are on. While your template isn't going to move from My Templates to Team Templates in your view, it will appear under Team Templates for your colleagues.

If your fonts don't match, it's likely due to copy/pasting into the text editor in your template. The best way to avoid this is when you are building the template to always paste with plain text. This will strip out any formatting that is being carried over and allow you to decide the font/size within the editor.

For right now, we cannot delete an entire category or move templates in bulk to a new category. What you can do is edit each template within the Category to either an existing Category name or a brand new name. This will move all of your existing templates into a different folder. Once the folder is empty, it will disappear. We are working on adding the ability to do this in bulk, but for the time-being this is how you can remove/edit categories.

Yes, we do support HTML: Copy the source code from your emails in MailChimp (or whatever tool you use to create emails in HTML) Hit the source button in your template editor Paste the source code there Hit save If you are seeing the error "Error - to remove the style/java/html tags" this means you have some styling that we do not support.  You should search the Source code for the word style and delete everything in the source code from <style> through </style>

Unfortunately, adding video content to a template and having it play in-line in the sent message is not available at this time. However, you can insert an inline image (or gif!) in your templates by clicking on the 'Insert Image' button (with the mountain icon) in the edit tools above the text field. One suggestion would be to insert a still image of the intended video, then making that image clickable by highlighting it and clicking the hyperlink icon to input the video URL.

When you upload Content we are able to track not only the click, but we can track which page your contact is reading. If you upload an attachment, we can only track the click and lose visibility into the page by page activity.

If you don't see the tasks you are looking for in your live feed, you will be able to find them in your Command Center in toutapp.com. Click the "Calendar" buttons in the overdue section to change the date range to display your tasks that are not showing up in the live feed.

When you schedule an email in gmail it is supposed to save your email in the drafts folder until it sends. Nothing has gone wrong, but due to how we integrate with gmail this is a restriction of the scheduled emails that they have to stay in the drafts folder. After it hits the scheduled time, they will move from drafts to Sent. You can see the email has been scheduled within toutapp.com and it should also have the label Tout Scheduled Email. Alternatively you can schedule from toutapp.com and they won't show up in your drafts in gmail.

No problem! There are two folders you can check for emails that didn't send. Bounced and Failed Delivery folders. Check them out and see if you still don't see the email you are looking for. If you don't find them there, continue through this form to give us more details about the email you attempted to send.

In order to insert calendar times into an email, open up a new Compose window.  You will see all your Tout options appear, click on "Calendar" and select the open times you would like to insert into your email. Be sure to hit Tout It instead of Send!  Questions: What happens when you add the calendar times?

To Tout an email, compose your email as you normally would, or select a Template or Campaign to insert into the compose window. When you are ready to send, click the "Tout It" button instead of "Send" in order to send the email, log the email to CRM (if applicable) and engage the tracking of the email. Note that the email will send using your own server.

In order to use Tout in Gmail you will need to be using a Chrome browser. From within toutapp.com, Settings > Tout for Browsers > Install.

You can install the Tout Chrome extension from here. If you still don't see Tout in Chrome, you may need to update your extension, go into your Chrome Extensions and make sure that you are on the latest version of Tout. If it is not up-to-date, click "Update extensions now". Once that's done, you may need to clear your cache and restart your browser.
