If your Exchange server does not have Autodiscover enabled, then the initial connection attempt will fail, and you'll see an additional field appear on the page in ToutApp called 'Exchange Server URL' and Exchange Version. Here, please enter the direct URL for your company's Exchange server. This will typically be something like 'https://mail.yourcompany.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx', but please verify with your IT team if you're unsure what to enter here.

Unfortunately an authentication error is an error we receive from your Server and is not something we control in ToutApp. Could you sync up with your email admin to verify you have the correct credentials and then try to re-authenticate from here?

In order to be added to a Sub-Team your account Admin can: Go to Team Management in your Settings Click 'Create Team' Click the Plus button, and then add anyone you would like to that Team

In order to remove team members the account Admin should: Go to Team Management in your Settings Click on desired user Click Delete to the right of their name

Adding team members is quick and easy! Your account Admin should: Go to Team Management in your Settings Click on Invite new member Enter the email addresses of the individuals you'd like to add. Select the team or teams that you would like to add the team members to. Click Invite.

The dashes are automatically placed there to divide your email from your signature. There is currently no setting to turn this off. You will have to remove this manually when composing your email.

To change your delivery channel, open up your email delivery channels Setting: https://toutapp.com/next#identities/delivery-channels. Click into the dropdown on the right and select your server.

To add an additional identity to your account, open up your Signatures and Email Identities Setting and click to add New Identity.  Then when you are sending emails from the compose window, you can toggle between the identities in the From field.

The activity log keeps a record of email that failed to log to Salesforce. It will only capture faield emails when logging through our API integration with Salesforce. You can retry logging these emails with the retry button.

To get reconnected with Salesforce: Go to your Salesforce settings Click Disconnect from Salesforce Refresh the page and reconnect Give it about 20 minutes to fully reconnect and then you should be all set!

Once you have connected your account to Salesforce you can use our Task Sync feature to sync tasks between ToutApp and Salesforce bi-directionally. Head over to your Salesforce settings on ToutApp.com to enable the feature by selecting the checkbox next to Task sync.

Click here to authenticate your SMTP server.  Make sure you have the proper credentials from your internal IT team. Also don't forget to update your Email Delivery channel!

Unfortunately, if you are setting up an SMTP server we are typically just surfacing errors we are receiving back from your Server so there isn't much we can do on our end to resolve them. We would suggest sharing the error with your email admin and make sure your account and credentials are correctly configured with all necessary permissions.

Have you had a conversation with this contact before Touting them an email? We rely on subject lines to track replies, our system searches your inbox and when it finds a match it marks it as “replied”. Google refreshes your token every hour, so the authentication has to be refreshed every hour. Typically we can maintain this seamlessly, but every now and then when it re-authenticates it will re-scan your inbox to detect a response. If you sent an email to your contact in the same thread, subject lines will match and it will trigger as a reply.
