Watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the dog show, then going to dinner at my aunt and uncle's and eating myself into a coma, usually ending the day with some time of Lifetime Christmas movie
Turkey with the family (deep-fried of course!) and then watching the kids run around and play letting the cousins get together each year. It's fun with lots of kids under the age of 10!
It changes from year to year depending on where we can travel to (which side of the family) as we have two children, one is a year old. We are hoping this year to travel to my family which is a traditional Thanksgiving dinner but around 1pm followed by football watching and games with the kids.
My grandma makes a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Now that I split holidays between my family and my husband's family, I make sure there's always some of my grandma there by making her sweet potato recipe. It's a hit with his family too! The secret is a little bit of orange juice.
