can someone explain how many soft bounces in X amount of times it takes before MKTO gives up and labels the record as a hard bounce and therefore an invalid email?
I don't know how many soft bounces it takes to equal a hard bounce - I think that's logic that needs to be added in by the user (you and me). But I did find this thread that looks to be a good resource.
Marketo doesn't. Hard bounces and soft bounces are different events that happen for different reasons, and no amount of soft bounces will automatically mark an email as invalid. Only a category 2 hard bounce will mark a record as invalid automatically.
