Why do only some Original Search Engine and Original Search Phrase show up?

I understand that leads using secured search will not have their original search engine and original search phrase information captured (i.e. Google hides the search data when users are searching via SSL and the search terms will show up as "not provided" in Google Analytics) but from my research, any paid search results should be 100% transparent.

These fields get captured 10-15% of the time, but I do see an increase to 50-60% for our PPC campaigns. Any idea as to why its not being captured 100% of the time?

Jason,

That was not my understanding at all - google is not passing anything along other than the gclid. I understand there are ways to construct the URL to capture the keyword data.

There could be all sorts of reasons PPC isn't passing on that data. Try asking Marketo Support if they know of any issues with their servers. I suspect it is a combination of javascript=off, security settings, url construction, and leads going to other pages and then returning to the form.
