I'm wondering which metrics you track or reports you pull to determine whether your video marketing efforts are working. Specifically on your videos, and in trends. We had a question on our Wistia community here, which specifically mentioned Marketo. Would love to know your thoughts!

In terms of video metrics to track, plays/completions are obviously the ones that stand out, but after that it's going to depend on the type of video—an explainer video that's 3 minutes long is handled a little differently than a webinar recording. Generally with long videos I tend to timestamp important points that I want the person to watch (did they see this particular segment vs. the intro rambling?) and if someone played/paused multiple times. This helps determine what viewers actually want to watch—and what they don't—so you can alter your content plans accordingly.
