What is the best way to prevent a lead from receiving the same content twice?

Hi, I'd like to know the best way for a lead to get the same content twice in an engagement stream. We have a stream set up that has multiple content assets per email. How can we skip that email if they've already downloaded that asset on our website?

Hi Agatha,

That's not that easy. You will have to use subprograms. When you do this, you actually send the content through a smart campaign. You can use that smart campaign with choices to manage at each step of the stream what content should be sent.

Great solution Grégoire! To add to that: when someone reached 'success' in one of those subprograms, it will be skipped in the Stream of the Engagement Program, even though they never received the email. So once they download the asset, make them a member of the corresponding subprogram with a 'success' status and that subprogram will be skipped in the stream. Modifying the Smart Campaign is then optional.
