Uploading Fonts to Marketo

I have a client that is wanting to use the same fonts from their website on their Marketo landing pages but they do not currently exist in Marketo. How do I upload new font files?

Upload them into the Design Studio » Inages and Files asset library. Recommend creating a /fonts folder and subfolders (this doesn't create real folders in the URL but it's cosmetically easier to manage).

Okay, thank you. My next question is how do I use the fonts on the landing pages? I have uploaded the files to the design studio but I am not seeing them as an option in the text box sections on the landing pages.

Re: Uploading Fonts to Marketo

The fonts can be used via CSS font-face rules.

They won't be added to the Rich Text Editor without considerable JS dev work -- and even though I've done it, it remains fragile so I'm not sure I'd fully recommend this route.

Re: Uploading Fonts to Marketo

Hi @SanfordWhiteman - Sorry to return to an old thread, but I've been trying to add in fonts using @font-face rules but it doesn't seem to be working. I've added all the text variants to a font face, and I've defined the H1 (and other H tags) to use that font-family in the CSS. I've even tried styling in-line and that's not working either.

I've been able to determine that if I only use the .ttf file when defining the font-face it works, but once i add in all the permutations it doesn't for some reason. Any thoughts on why that would be? Attached is a screenshot showing that the font-family is being applied to the H1 tag but not actually being accepted.

Here's how the @font-face was set up:

@font-face {
            font-family: UniNeue;
            font-weight: 800;
            font-style: normal;
            src:url('https://pages.fiscalnote.com/rs/109-ILL-989/images/uni-neue-800-ea915453ab.eot');
            src:url('https://pages.fiscalnote.com/rs/109-ILL-989/images/uni-neue-800-ea915453ab.eot?#iefix') format("embedded-opentype")
            url('https://pages.fiscalnote.com/rs/109-ILL-989/images/uni-neue-800-bf172d2276.woff2') format("woff2"),
            url('https://pages.fiscalnote.com/rs/109-ILL-989/images/uni-neue-800-70ee55495c.woff') format("woff"),
            url('https://pages.fiscalnote.com/rs/109-ILL-989/images/uni-neue-800-c70af44744.ttf') format("truetype");
            }

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like you're missing a comma after

format("embedded-opentype")
