Sync interval between marketo and salesforce

I created a custom formula field in salesforce that captures the lead owner if the lead owner is a queue. I could see there are around 47k leads currently in marketing queue in SFDC whereas in marketo it shows only 1300 leads.
This looks more of a sync issue. Could you please let us know the sync interval between salesforce and marketo for the existing leads. Also is there any criteria/rule that triggers the sync between 2 systems. Yesterday we manually pushed the sync then the lead count in marketing queue raised to 47k. This is a serious problem for us.

Re: Sync interval between marketo and salesforce

Hi Jamuna,

Formula fields do not update the symstemModStamp on an SFDC record when the caldulated value changes, so Marketo does not know to retrieve updates from these records.  To force marketo to pull down these changes you need to update the systemModStamp.  You can do this by exporting the SFDC ID of all of your leads owned by a queue and then reimporting this list through the SFDC Data Loader.  This will trigger Marketo to pull the changes from these records and pull down the value in the formula field.

Hi - Could you explain a little more about this custom formula field? Typically Marketo doesn't read queues in SFDC.
