Sync Lead to SFDC caught exception

We received an error when syncing a lead to SFDC. The fault reads as "Sync Lead to SFDC caught exception" and the exception message is "Error updating Sfdc lead id after crm creation. Leads might have already been synched.". Our flow step was previously set to:

  1. Change Program Status
  2. Sync Person to SFDC

I updated the flow step so that the Sync action occurs first as a precaution, but wanted to better understand what caused the error in question.

Then you shouldn't be using the manual Sync Lead to SFDC step.

Is the Program (in which you are changing status) also synced to SFDC using the Campaign Program sync?

Gotcha! So having the Sync Lead to SFDC step is redundant because we're already using the Campaign/Program sync?
