Status Update Change not translating to SFDC

Hello Marketo Community,

I wanted to make a mass lead status change to a group of leads in Salesforce.  I made a smartlist to get the ones I wanted to change in one list, then went to : Select All/Lead Actions/Marketing/Change Data Value/Lead Status and then selected the new lead status that I wanted to change it to.

It changed it in Marketo but it did not translate over to SFDC.  Does anyone know why?  My sync is working fine.  Is that one of the fields that Marketo will not update on behalf of the user?

Double check that the status in Marketo is an available option for SFDC for that campaign type. You can usually go to the campaign in SFDC and click Advanced Setup at the top of the page to view all the member status values.
