Snippet with mind of its own

The telephone snippet in our footer refuses to position itself where I leave it in the LP editor. It renders fine in the preview ,but loses its mind when approved.

[REDCATED]

I can't see anything in the code that would make the snippet move....Can anyone advise?

Naor,

This page looks fine to me. What exactly is moving?

Also, I probably wouldn't have sharing options on this page.

Re: Snippet with mind of its own

Josh - at the bottom right of the footer you'll see our info@ email and NEXT to it should be the phone number. Does the number on your screen appear nicely aligned next to the email address? On my screen the number is floating out in left space...

Also why would you be opposed to a last-ditch effort to keep someone connected if they're simply overwhelmed with email? Those aren't sharing buttons, they're "follow" buttons. Probably won't get much use but isn't a bad fall-back.

Re: Snippet with mind of its own

Hi Naor,

Oh sorry, didn't see that those were follow buttons. Curious if you tried to ask people to subscribe to something different other than follow?

As for the phone number, it appears spaced off to the left, maybe a couple of extra spaces, but it looks fine to me. It is aligned with the email address. I tested in Chrome and FF. What is a bit off is the email/phone block appears to be ABOVE the Contact/Privacy policy links. This might be a table problem.

Re: Snippet with mind of its own

Ah I see what happened here. I made CSS changes that were stuck in my browser cache, so I had to clear it out to make things work properly. Thanks for the feedback, we haven't gotten that creative with the subscription center YET, but will consider it once we're fully up and running. I'll look into the block you mention..

Thanks as always Josh
