Setting up Marketo Sales Insights for multiple sales teams with different engagement/lead score models

Hello,

I am running into a bit of a snag and would like to see what you have done to get around this or if there is any workaround. Currently, we support multiple lines of business within our Marketo instance. Each line of business has a unique sales process and customer lifecycle, ergo, scoring is different per team.

There has been request  to set up MSI with Best Bets for multiple teams. As Best Bets is programmed at an admin level - is there a good way to set up different best bet models?

Hi Josh,

We have done this.

  1. We created a series of scoring fields in SFDC and in Marketo, one for each business line
  2. We have created an algorythm in SFDC that permanently looks at the various scores and detect the "preferred" business line and copies this higher score into the lead score field, that is used to compute best bets. We also insert the preferred business line name into a dedicated file.
