We encountered an odd issue recently, and need your advice.
We set up an email program with a SL A/B testing of 20%.
Within the same program, we had a smart campaign set up to sent the email to the internal team 30 minutes before the winner was declared (e.g. Deploy a/b testing at 6am, deploy the winner at 10am + deploy the email to internal teams at 9:30am through a smart campaign within the program).
After the email was sent to the internal team, we realized that the smart campaign ran for only 20% of the audience. Mentioning that the internal team was excluded from the audience within the top level of the program.
In the end, we set up another smart campaign to send the email to those in the internal team who did not received, and that ran correctly.
Did you ever experience this?
Any advice on how to keep the smart campaign to send the email to the internal team within the same email with A/B testing, before the winner is sent out, and still deploy 100%?
