I'm trying to set up an alert campaign that triggers when a lead fills out 2 different forms. I created the alert campaign and made the smart list anyone who has filled out form A and form B, and I set the logic to ALL so that it would only trigger when both forms have been filled out. However when I tested it out the alert to the sales team is triggered even if I just fill out one of the forms. Does anyone know how to fix this? Or can anyone think of another way to do this. Basically I need to send an alert to the sales team if a lead has filled out these two forms, it could be a smart list subscription as well, I just only want to capture new leads. I worry that if I setup a smart list subscription with filled out form A last week AND filled out form B last week that will miss a lead who say filled out form A a month ago and filled out form B last week. Any suggestions are appreciated!
The best way to accomplish this is via a batch smart campaign with the filters below. Note this should not be a trigger campaign.
Smart List Filters: Filled out form A & Filled out form B
Flow step: Send the alert. From there you can schedule the batch to run every hour.
If you need the send alerts to go real time, you can build 2 smart campaigns as seen below.
Trigger: Fills our form A with a filter for filled out form B
Flow: Send Alert
Trigger: Fills our form B with a filter for filled out form A
Flow: Send Alert
This will trigger the send alert to go when either form is filled and the other one has been filled prior.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
...and I set the logic to ALL so that it would only trigger when both forms have been filled out.
Just to expand on Keith's answer, there's no such thing as ALL mode for triggers. Triggers function in ANY mode; what you were actually setting was the filter mode.
Thanks Sanford! Kiah Kennedy thats why splitting this into 2 campaigns would resolve the issue.
