Segmentation Association

I'm probably overlooking something so simple: I was using segmentation in a nurture email, but have since built a separate campaign to negate the segmentation. What bothers me is that this segmentation is still associated with this email, even though it's not being used. I cannot delete it from the email; the error message is that the segmentation contains content. To reiterate, I don't want to delete the segmentation itself, just its association with a particular email. Can this be accomplished without having to recreate the email?

If it says the segmentation contains content, it's because you have set up different content for one or more of the segments. Therefore, you'll have to go in and find the dynamic content and move that section back to the Static section. Once that's done, you can move remove the segmentation from the email.

This also means the email will no longer be dynamic.
