Hope someone can help! We've noticed recently that when our sales reps use the Outlook plugin to send their emails, the activity logged is only updating on the Account/Contact in some cases and not syncing to the Opportunity as well. In other cases it only syncs with the Opportunity/Contact and not the Account. Does anyone know how to get it to sync to both? I've contacted support but no reply
When you say the activity logged is not syncing to Opportunity, are you referring to the Opportunity's Activity History, or do you have the Sales Insight section on your Opportunities? Could you post a screenshot or two to explain?
I suspect that the Opp record doesn't have the Contact Role of the Contact receiving the email.
It also depends heavily on how well the rep uses Sales Insight and Outlook..

Thanks for the input! I am referring to the Activity History. The contact is listed on the Opportunity, but isn't listed as primary or with a role. Here's a few screenshots showing the activity history logged on the Account, but missing on the Opportunity.
