Removing elements from a template

I want to delete some elements from a template but can't figure out how to do this. When i try to edit the code it doesn't accept the changes. The empty picture and text spots below need to go!

Hi Laura,

1. Edit the template and remove the elements
2. Reapprove the template
3. Edit the email
4. Replace the module with the new one

If you are using a Marketo library template, you will need to clone it before you can edit it.
