Possible Bug: In Email Program when running A/B test, email name does not appear when creating trigger for opens or clicks

When creating an A/B test within an Email Program I noticed that you can no longer use that email in a trigger. Any active trigger using that email no longer functions properly, while new ones cannot be created.

This is an issue as we'd like to have triggers in place for when individuals click or open the email, but instead we have to go back and run batch campaigns once the email has deployed.

Has anyone else run into this or have an alternative solution?

You need to define/approve your trigger campaigns first and THEN define your A/B testing. Just be aware of this flaw if you need to make any changes to your trigger campaigns or A/B criteria, which require unapproving the email program: Re: Unable to unapprove email program
