Picture won't hyperlink

I have a photo I have inserted into an email, but when I go to hyperlink it, it won't work.

Does the photo have to be a specific extention? I've tried both JPG and PNG

Re: Picture won't hyperlink

Amanda,

This feature should work for either, let us know the details in support and we'll get you going!

You should be able to select the image then click the chain link button and add your valid link http://www.foo.com. save.

Hi Amanda,

You can try writing code as:

<a href="url"><img src="source" alt="name" /></a>

Also, please use the image in JPG format because PNG image is not supported by all the email clients like Lotus.

Alternately, please share the piece of code where you have inserted the image file.

Re: Picture won't hyperlink

The code snippet that we shared with you yesterday can work for email as well. When you are creating the email, you can open the HTML viewer and use this code for the image.

Hopefully this should work for you.

I'm also having this issue. No image will hyperlink and when I try to edit the HTML within the email and add the code you have suggested it doesn't update to the email.

Re: Picture won't hyperlink

Hi

I have the same issue as Amanda. Did this get solved? Any other tips on how to hyperlink an image to a URL? It just refuses to do this on the editor.

Prashant
