My company is currently implementing Microsoft's Dynamic AX ERP system and while AX has CRM functionality it is not the full Microsoft Dynamics CRM version. Is Marketo still able to fully integrate with this solution? The same way it integrates with the full CRM version or would we lose any functionality? Any insight I could provide back to our ERP and IT teams would be greatly appreciated.
Marketo's out of the box Dynamics connector will not integrate with Dynamics AX ERP. However, you should be able to integrate using a 3rd party tool such as Boomi.
Just read about Boomi but it does not have native (pre-built) connectors and looks like it would end up being a fairly significant project. Does Marketo produce an XML output of records created/updated and if so, can we get a copy of the schema?
