Marketo/Wordpress Form Conversion Decrease

On April 29th we launched a new website, with using Wordpress landing pages (with Marketo embedded forms) as opposed to Marketo landing pages as we did prior to launch. Since the launch we have noticed almost a 50% decrease in website form conversions. To test and combat this issue we have recently adopted tooling from Marketo for secure domains on landing pages and secure domains for tracking links, but we are not confident that this is the only contributing factor. Has anyone else experienced something similar when using Marketo forms and Wordpress? Sanford Whiteman#wordpress#wordpress integration#lead forms#conversions‌

Did you change your embeds to use your LP domain? Just having SSL isn't enough.

Yes the update for all of our forms were just implemented. The link below is an example of one of the forms we are testing:

Re: Marketo/Wordpress Form Conversion Decrease

OK, I see that you're not using the marketo.com domain anymore.

It's de facto impossible, *all else being equal* for there to be a significant problem *solely* because the forms alone are on go.example.com vs. the entire page being on go.example.com.

But I doubt all else is equal. Often by moving to embeds people forget they have some rogue JS on their corporate site that isn't built to understand the Marketo forms model. Or maybe it was built to only hook Marketo forms, but there weren't any yet, so bugs weren't noticed. But such code can stop the Marketo form from submitting reliably.

Re: Marketo/Wordpress Form Conversion Decrease

What's been frustrating is that our email clicks and open rates have remained the same if not higher yet our form submissions have been cut in half from those campaigns. Is there anything that you can see with our JS that is wrong or needs to be cleaned up?  Also, let me know if it would be possible to consult with you directly for a fee. We are struggling and have done a ton of AB testing and are still unable to pinpoint a solution. Thanks in advance!
