MKTO_TOK ID - how can I match back to a lead?

Hey there,

Is there a way that I can decipher from the MKTO TOK string appended to a URL who the lead is?  For example, if the person clicked a link and an email that passed them to a survey, I'd like to know who that survey respondant was.

I don't think so...in theory, yes, but  how in the system to see that?

What you could do is add a url parameter with the LeadID or another code and pass that along to the Survey. Probably not super secure of course.

Josh is right- not really. That value is a hash that can't be directly accessed within a Marketo instance. Is that survey somehow on your site, or somewhere else?

Unfortunately it is in getfeedback.com.  We accidently didn't include the SFDC ID token in the URL to pass through, so the surveys that were filled out didn't include any personal information other than the token.

I sent over the list of token ids to support.  I'm hoping they can connect the dots back?

Hmm. Isn't going to be easy for them. Sounds like there is a reasonable approach if you do it again.
