Lead React to an A/B Email

Hi, I wanted to know if a lead reacted to an A/B email or to a "Winner" email (as part of the email program). Is there a way to add this indication to the "Opened Email" or "Clicked Link Email" filters of a smart list?

Thanks!

Itay

Re: Lead React to an A/B Email

Hey Itay,

When you add the "Test Variant" constraint to the smart list filter, you will only see leads who received/opened during the test.

For example, if you create a filter like "Opened email is 'Email 1'" with the constraint "Test Variant is Subject A", you will only see leads who opened email A during the test.

To show those who only opened as part of the "Winner" send, create a list with these filters:

--- Use all filters ---

Filter one = Opened email1

Filter Two = Not opened email1 (Include the test variant constraint and select email A)

Filter Three = Not opened email1 (Include the test variant constraint and select email b)

This will be everyone who opened email A during the "Winner" send (assuming email A was the winner).

Thanks!

Hey Itay,

You can add the "Test Variant" constraint to the open/click filter then chose the version you want to see (A or B).

Thanks!

Thanks Trevor, I'm trying to understand if someone opened an email A as part of the AB test, or opened it when it determined a winner.

Hi Trevor, that make sense. What happens when you add the filter "Opened email is 'Email 1' without any constraint?

Re: Lead React to an A/B Email

Hey Itay,

If you use the open filter for an A/B test email without constraints you would see the total opens for those who received both tests and the winner.

For example, if you you use the filter "Opened email" and choose the email named "ProgramName.Subject Line Test" without any constraints, you would see the people who opened the test (winner and loser during the test period) and the people who opened the winning email during the "winner" send.

Thanks!
