Is this email report possible?

Hi all,

Looking for help on email reports. When we build reg programs for events our sales reps always want to know who opened and clicked on the invites so they can do call downs. I'd like a report that shows the details of who opened and clicked on multiple emails, and be able to set up subscriptions so it can be sent automatically to sales reps--preferably without having to give them Marketo access.

None of the standard reports in Analytics seem to do the trick.

The Results tab on each email campaign gives the right data in a good format (Activity Type column), but only for one email at a time, and you can’t set up subscriptions.

So far, building a Smart List and setting up a subscription to it seems to be the best option. The logic is “opened emails xyz or clicked on emails xyz and not unsubscribed” so the reps can assume anyone in the list opened at least one of the emails, and they look to the Last Interesting Moment Description column to see who actually clicked. But even that turns out to be confusing to the reps, and the Last Interesting Moment Description column can be written over.

Any ideas how to do this better?

Thanks in advance!

Emily

The method you described is your best bet, but to make it easier (and not confuse your reps) maybe consider splitting into two Smart Lists -> one for opens, and one for clicks. That way, the reps will have a list of both and don't need to even look at interesting moments column...

Thanks, Justin, I'll give it a try, appreciate the response!

Would be great if we could just add subscription functionality to the email Results tab...
