Is there a way to reuse a form that will serve on our website to track who fills out the form to download a whitepaper and then from there have the ability to send the whitepaper directly to their email ?

We are attempting to use Marketo as a tool to capture information from leads that wish to download whitepapers and/or case studies from our website.  If the person fills out the form, we would like the whitepaper/case study to be send automatically to their email that he or she provided.  Is there a way to do that without having an email campaign before it?  And is there a way to reuse the material to aid in the work load?

Thank you!

Aimee,

Sending the email after a form fill is something you can easily do.  There are a couple of ways to do this, you can have an email triggered after they fill out the form that goes to their email and contains a link to the whitepaper/case study, or you can set up a redirect upon submission of the form that takes them directly to the hosted whitepaper/case study.  Not sure which one would fit your needs best, but if you have any questions about doing either one or ideas on how to reuse the material, feel free to email me, donm.marketo@gmail.com.

Aimee,

Don is right. If you'd like to send the whitepaper in an e-mail to the end-user, that would definitely need for you to have a campaign. Also, you can certainly re-use the same form across downloads for multiple assets. You'll just need to ensure that you're using the 'Filled Out Form on XYZ Web Page' contraint.
