Is it possible to use Google Font Lato and Font Awesome in email templates?

Hi guys,

I'm working with our designers on new email templates and we would love to use the font 'Lato' and Font Awesome for our social media icons.

We've tried to add the above in the stylesheet of the email template code, but Marketo doesn't seem to pick up both the Lato font or the Font Awesome icons.

Is it possible to use a font that is different from the standard fonts provided in Marketo? Or is there a workaround perhaps?

Thanks for your help!

Microsoft Outlook does not render a lot of CSS that most other email clients do just fine. This unfortunately means that your emails are constraint by really old html standards.

This link gives you a good reference of what you can or cannot do in emails for different email clients.

For most companies ourlook is the email client for employees so I would suggest avoid trying anything fancy that most likely will render incorrectly in Outlook.

This link is a good guide.
