Image Resize

I am trying to resize an image in email designer.  I have no problem inserting the image from Design Studio, but cannot change the size.  What am I doing wrong?

If the picture is already inserted into the email, click the image and then click the photo icon in the email editor.  Click the appearance tab and then type in the dimensions that you want.

You need to resize it on your computer and then upload it.

An alternative is to change the size displayed - this should be on the second tab when you edit an image for insertion.
