How to use seeded program to implement landing pages into a nuture stream?

I am trying to use seeded programs which contains landing pages in a nuture stream and try to push the stream leads consume eahc one of the landing pages. Can someone tell me how to push stream leads going through each one of the landing pages in a seeded program? Do I need to use a smart campaign to push leads into the seeded program to make sure those leads can recieve my landing pages as well? Or, the nuture stream leads will automatically be added to a seeded program within that stream?

Hi Leslie,

What is a "seeded program"? Could you provide a more detailed explanation of what you are trying to do?

Hi Denise,

When you try to use an entire program with a nuture stream as a piece of content resource, this embeded program is called seeded program.

I am trying to push nuture stream leads go through each one of the lading pages inside this seeded program. Do I need to use a smart campaign to send leads to the seeded program or the stream leads will be automatically receiving landing pages inside the seeded program?

Re: How to use seeded program to implement landing pages into a nuture stream?

Hi Leslie,

Thanks. I've never heard anyone use that term before. "Child programs" is what I'm used to calling them. I'm a consultant and have built a number of engagement (nurture) programs for my clients that use programs in the stream rather than emails. Typically each child program (or seeded program, if you prefer), contains a minimum of these elements:

  • Email (that links to a Landing Page)
  • Landing Page
  • Thank You Page
  • Smart Campaign to Send the Email - and this is what you drag into the Engagement Program stream. The Smart List for this campaign needs to include the filter "Member of Engagement Program ->"This Program Name"->is True. Be sure to leave the schedule tab alone.

Optionally you may also have a fulfillment email that gets sent to people who complete the form on the LP and a campaign that sends it plus program status campaigns. But these are independent of the Engagement stream.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say "...go through each one of the landing pages inside this seeded program." So please let me know if I haven't answered your question.

Re: How to use seeded program to implement landing pages into a nuture stream?

Hi Denise,

Thank you lots for the information. Really appreciate it!

I don't quite get the "Smart Campaign to send the email" part of your answer. As I know, I can't directly drag a smart campaign to a nuture stream? There are only emails and programs allowed to be dragged over to a stream? Let me know if I remembered something wrong.

My goal is that I want leads in a nuture stream to receive all landing pages inside a child program. So how can I achieve this? Do I need to set up a smart campaign to push leads in that engagement program to receive all the landing pages, or the leads in that engagement stream will automatically receive all lading pages within that child program becuase the child program is part of that engagement stream?

Looking forward to your reply!

Regards,

Leslie

Hi Leslie,

Re: "As I know, I can't directly drag a smart campaign to a nuture stream? That will result in the program being placed in the stream - try it, you will see. It's really the send campaign that's active in the stream.

I don't understand what you mean by "receiving all the landing pages".

  1. The email recipient doesn't "receive" a landing page. She has to (be persuaded to) click on a link in the email to visit the landing page. So when you say "receive a landing page" do you mean "receive an email with a link to landing page"?
  2. Do you have more than one landing page in each child program that you are trying to put in the Engagement Program? If so, do you have more than one email in each of these child programs? Please describe the child programs you want to put in the Engagement Program.
