GoToWebinar Reporting Issue

Hey y'all!

I've got a weird issue that's coming up. In all the reporting from GoToWebinar, the State, Country, City (and a bunch of other fields) don't show up in the spreadsheet from GTW.

We use a Marketo LP and form to capture leads and require that information on the form and if I search Marketo for the lead, the information shows on their record.

The webinar program is properly connected to GTW and the Launchpoint service doesn't have any errors. Any ideas what might be happening?

I think only certain fields sync between Marketo/GTW. Default is First Name, Last Name, Email Address. Optional are Title and Company Name. https://docs.marketo.com/display/public/DOCS/Add+GoToWebinar+as+a+LaunchPoint+Service

Re: GoToWebinar Reporting Issue

Does the lead data have a special character or a symbol in it? Many a times registration errors are caused by "invalid" symbols in the name, title, or email. For example, if there is a "|" in the value. Other reasons could be like the field data is too long.

Re: GoToWebinar Reporting Issue

No special characters. One example is a lead has Peru as their country in Marketo but GTW only shows a blank field.

Re: GoToWebinar Reporting Issue

Yeah 😞 I learned this fact last week.

I think this (and a couple other reasons) will push us away from using GTW.
