Global Life Cycle Smart Campaigns- does anyone know how to set up ?

We have 4 Workspaces, plus Default.  Each WS is a separate Business.  We currently do Lead Life Scyle Smart Campaigns in the individual Business WS's.  (Example:  Prospect fills out Form, Smart Campaign changes Lead Status from 'Raw' to 'Inquiry', etc).

Is there a way to set up a set of Lead Life Cycle SC's that operate across the entire instance (that way i'm only managing one set of SCs, vs 4)....

Place the LLC (lead lifecycle) in the Default WS as long as it can see all Lead Partitions.

Having done this recently, here are some things to consider:
  • are you already using a 1-1 WS to Partition system?
  • Do you have a single partition with several WS?
  • If so, then you need a method to identify leads as being WS/BU1 vs. BU2. This could be a product flag, BU flag, or just separate scoring.
  • Does each BU have a different LLC?
  • Does each BU have a different definition of a MQL? Or different ULDs?
  • How separate are the lead assignment rules?
  • How are those assignment rules handled now? In SFDC? In Marketo?
  • if you change the LLC to be centralized, will that change reporting?
  • how will you breakout the funnels for each BU?

why don't you build the campaign in a Workspace with access to all Lead Partitions?
