We're investigating our engagement programme and have been asked to exclude members who have already received a certain piece of content from receiving the same item a second time. For this purpose, we have a Smart Campaign in place to filter those leads out, however the question remains - will they pass onto the next stage on the following send, or will they be stuck in an eternal loop, which is what the documentation would seem to suggest...
Separately we are mimicking this behaviour in a separate test engagement programme, so we shall know for sure ourselves in 3 days, but thought I'd ask to see if anyone could pre-empt the result and/or suggest any workarounds to this (potential) issue?
This depends on how you plan to exclude such people. If you mean you built it with a child Program, then Jamie is right.
If you mean you are doing something else, then please post the screenshot.
Thanks both - this is a child campaign so should not be an issue. Was just asking the question due to an article we had read in documentation which seemed to suggest looping ad nauseam.
