Does the "Member of SFDC Campaign" filter look at leads, contacts or both?

While attempting to send an email to customers recently who are all contacts in SFDC, we noticed 0 of them would sync to Marketo.

Trying to determine if we have an issue with our MKTO/SFDC sync, or if the filter is actually only looking at leads and not contacts.

It should look at booth. Are you able to tell if any of these records are in your Marketo Lead Database?

Thanks Jennifer, it sounds like we've got a sync issue.

It should look at both since Marketo sees leads and contacts as the same in the lead database.  You could potentially start with troubleshooting the sync -- like Jennifer mentioned, see if some names in your SFDC campaign are also in your Marketo lead database.  Also, check your SFDC sync settings in the admin section.

Thanks Joanna, we're going to take a peek at the campaign list in SFDC to see if they are also in our MKTO database before our next email. This filter usually works for us which makes a sync issue seem odd.
