Would appreciate your insight on this.
We would like to enable contacts to submit event form only once. So when person would try to re-enter the page and submit the form again, Submit button will be blocked and message will pop-up.
Not sure if Form settings and Custom Form HTML would work here, as we want to block the from re-submitting not only hide for known (cookied) users. In other words, we want to be sure that person has submitted the form at least and only once.
Appreicate your help on this.
Are you not using global forms which are progressive profiling enabled?
Let's say if you are using independent forms and record with same email address has filled out the form multiple times, you can still manage them via campaigns so that they do not receive auto-responder/confirmation emails multiple times, if that is your concern with the given use case.
Add custom scripts to the forms to manage submit button.
Hi Priyank Joshi,
I see your point, but in case someone uses two different browsers would that work? If will open that form on the browser, other than used for submission, might be recognized as new contact and form submission will be enabled.
In Terms of Smart Campaign, yes we will restrict the flow to run only once, but also wanted to implement solution directly on the Landing Page.
Let me know your thoughts on this.
Known Visitor HTML will work fine. Just remove the button (by default, the Submit button is labeled Download, but you can remove it entirely).
