I would like to create a roll-up field in Salesforce which calculates the lead scores for contacts within specific accounts to help prioritize BDR and nurture efforts. Is there a way to do this in Salesforce?

And yes, this is something easy to do in SFDC on contacts with a rollup summary field. Shoot for an average rather than a sum, though, or if you can, get both. The reason is that you may not have identified all contacts in an account and a simple sum will lead to overlooking accounts for which the contacts are not yet identified.
How are you doing a roll-up summary field here? Accounts and contacts don't have a master-detail relationship. I built out flows and a process to do this. Are you using some kind of app?
