Chrome linking issue

We found a bug on production of our website in chrome that's munchkin code related. We found that this is due to a conflict between our Omniture tags and the Marketo code.

If a user is clicking around the site in Chrome they most likely will come across an instance where they try and click a link/CTA and that link/CTA will not work. While, if a user goes to these same links in another browser, they do work. It is an intermittent issue, while some users experience it, others do not. Which makes it a tough issue to debug.

Our development environment shows that the Omniture tags and the Marketo Munchkin code are bouncing off of each other and in a constant loop. We did some testing on our development environment by removing this block of code and it fixed the issue.

Since we can’t remove Omniture code from the site, as that is the primary tracking mechanism, we are wondering if there is something that can be fixed with the Munchkin code.

Re: Chrome linking issue

Hi Kaylee,

In general Munchkin works fine with Omniture, but we have seen a few setups with other similar tracking tools where they didn't get along with Munchkin. We have a beta version of Munchkin a few people are using which has solved this type of issue for people before.

If you're interested, please email me at erik@marketo.com and I can send you the instructions.
