Change Owner when Lead Converted

Hi all,

I am trying to build a workflow that will align the contact owner with the account owner when a lead is converted.  I found a thread that had suggested I build a workflow that changes the owner based on account owner email address (thread here: Contact owner match Account Owner in SFDC ).  However, when I tried this for myself using account owner email address and account owner full name and then tested it, but it did not work.  Below are screenshots of the setup.  Does anyone have any recommendations?  If I run a batch campaign would I have to do one per salesperson per week?  Any insight is much appreciated!

Rachel,

When you look at the activity log's results, what are you seeing as the reason the owner was not changed? Did it use the default choice of "do nothing"?

While that may help, it is not recommend to do this in Marketo.

Is the use case that the Contact Owner may not match Account Owner and you want to fix that?
