Can't Use data- attributes in rich text html inside forms

Hey I was wondering why the html editor inside the forms rich text does not allow you to save html with data- attributes.  is there another way to add data- attributes to the html?   Thanks

I am guessing the html editor does not support all HTML5 attributes.

Hi John,

Our editor strips any scripting related material from rich text elements.  If you need to include this information, please use an HTML element inside the editor.
