Bullet points turning to '?' on iPhone

Hey,

Has anyone else had any issues with bullet point formating turning to'?' on the iPhone. If so, how did you come up with a solution?

Cheers,
Bec

Never seen this...do you have a screenshot or URL to your landing page?

Sounds to me like the bullet could be a "pasted" character coming from an application. If an HTML unordered list is used, the problem should go away. Or, you can also replace the bullet character with its HTML entity which is •

Good luck!

@Rafael, ah but of course...perhaps it was the dreaded "paste from Word"! 🙂

Re: Bullet points turning to '?' on iPhone

just delete the pasted bullets and click on the WYSWIG and use the bullets  provided there.

Make sure to remove formatting by pasting your content into notepad before pasting.

Re: Bullet points turning to '?' on iPhone

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for your advice. It seems to be an anomoly. We used the bullets points from the WYSWIG and this person still had an issue - however other iPhone users did not. • worked okay but if the dot point was over one line is caused issues with formatting  unless we put it in a table. In the end we just left as is, as we could not replicate the issue the person was having.

Thanks again,
Bec
