Added field to SFDC and Not Showing up in Marketo

Hey all, I added a field to Salesforce and can't find it in Marketo when I try to select a condition to change the program status. I logged through my marketo account and it's in the lead view. Any ideas?

Hey Chelsea,

A new field requires a system refresh which occurs every night at 10:00pm Pacific time. It should be there tomorrow for you, assuming you created the field today.

Usually, new SFDC fields become visible in Marketo after the next sync has started. The schema is one of the first items that are synched, before leads, contacts, accounts, etc. are updated. If you are in the Admin - Field Management, you may have to refresh your browser to see the new field.

However, if the field does not show-up, check the field level security settings in SFDC - the user account for Marketo must have the permissions to read and write to that field. Then wait for the next sync.

If the field still doesn't show, you may have a support case that you can log in the Support section of this community site.

This happened to me yesterday. I added 6 fields to SFDC and only 3 showed up in Marketo. I logged in as Marketo Sync and was able to see the values so the permissions were ok. I didn't see the fields show up until this morning (12+ hrs later).
