Statistics on email clients and devices used

It would be a great addition to be able to see which email clients and devices are most utilized.

As well, if this information could be presented on a per email basis, and over a period of time (plot-able charts, for nurture programs).

Yes, Dan Stevens, how/where are you pulling this data?

It certainly does not look like any MKTO screen I've ever seen.

This is a sample from the email reports available with EmailOnAcid.  Many stand-alone email service providers - like Campaign Monitor - offer similar reports.

Do you know how cost is structured AND if they integrate to Marketo, or whether separate tracking code is required in the email(s) and templates?

Thanks again.  Interested, just hoping that Marketo could do this natively as it really shouldn't be all that hard to pull this data IMHO, though I do come from a programming background and from a time where a company I worked for first created 1 pixel tracking on our emails to see open rates, etc.

From a cost-perspective, it's very reasonable - only $70/month (Pricing & Signup | Email on Acid ).  From an implementation standpoint, you need to ensure every email includes some code snippets (ESP changing tracking code ).  I agree - it would be nice to not have to use another platform for this type of core functionality, especially given the investment we've already made in Marketo.  Not to mention the additional inconvenience of using another platform to share campaign results among our global marketing team members.

I have an existing idea out here already for this:

Unless I'm overlooking it, it doesn't look like the new Email Analytics engine contains Email Client breakdown. Pretty confusing, as this data is fairly straightforward to gain from a technical perspective. And it's arguably the most important when it comes to designing responsive emails.
