Have the ability to create a pdf version of an email within Marketo

We have clients who have requested pdf versions of the newsletter emails we've sent out - and there's no way to currently do this in Marketo.  Right now, I'm having to send the email to myself, save as HTML, then export to pdf from there, and then crop the pages in Acrobat.  This is the only way I've found to preserve both the look of the email and the active links.  It would be great to have a feature directly in Marketo to export to pdf and keep the integrity of images/links.

You cannot publicly share the View as Web Page URL because the content is personalized for the recipient.

Having the ability to share emails via PDF or a campaign link is essential when working with stakeholders and clients. MailChimp has had the campaign link function for ages and this worked exceptionally well when using this platform. This is MUCH needed!!#share your campaigns

You can click view as a webpage and then Save as PDF.

Again, you can't share the View as Web Page content because the links are personalized.

Great idea.  We create pdfs of every email we send for various internal use cases.  This would save a lot of time/effort.

I use PDFmy URL  https://pdfmyurl.com/.  This may work for you.

I mean now that Adobe owns Marketo...this should be a no brainer

Yes, but there is a preview view, as per other services such as MailChimp and campaign monitor, they allow you to share a campaign URL. The intent should be to share the preview view either of the default campaigns or allow variable selection, as per the preview, and then create a custom URL to share.

My point is that the feature is missing because the concept of using the View as Web Page is fatally flawed.

Sanford,

We use the 'view as webpage' link from the sample emails to create pdfs for our internal teams.   Unless we choose a specific contact for the sample, the links appear to be clean.  Of course, this only works if the email is basic without much, if any, personalized elements.
