Go back to a single, long list of assets in emails and landing pages!!

Just recently Marketo has switched from a single, long list of all emails and landing pages to a paged version if you clicked on "Emails" or "Landing Pages" from the Design Studio. This is incredibly cumbersome and elminates previous functionality that we used to have to "mass approve" assets.

It would be great if Marketo could go back to the old style of a single, long page of assets so that you can select more than 30 things to be approved at a time.

I'm not sure select all is a sufficient workaround. Letting me choose how many items per page would help, so long as the top end of this choice is very high (2000 ideally), I have two main issues with the change: I can't see all of my approved with draft pages in one list anymore, and I can't mass approve changes. To illustrate the issue, here is my old workflow for making a change to a commonly-used snippet:

1. Sort the landing pages list by approval status. Review to see if there's anything approved with draft. If there is, then either review the changes and approve those pages, or unapprove to get rid of them.
2. Make edits to the snippet. Approving the snippet will cause all pages that have it to revert to approved with draft status.
3. Go back to the landing page list, sort the list by approval status, shift-click to select all the pages that are approved with draft, right-click, and click approve. Easy.

My new workflow, if this change remains, looks like this:

1. Go to the landing pages list to see if there are any that are approved with draft. If there are, then either review the changes and approve those pages, or unapprove to get rid of them. Click next page. Repeat this step one hundred and fifty times to view all 150 pages in the landing pages list.
2. Make edits to the snippet. Approving the snippet will cause all pages that have it to revert to approved with draft status.
3. Go back to the landing page list, sort the list by approval status, shift-click to select all the pages that are approved with draft, right-click, and click approve. Click on "next page." Repeat this step one hundred and fifty times to approve all pages.

Hey Erik,

Is there a timeframe on when we can expect a fix for this (either the sorting issue or the ability to select all)?

Select all and sorting will be fixed right away, someone is working on it now (although there are a lot of holidays this time of year). It'll be fixed on or before the January release. The option to show more assets on a page is a bit more complex, so I'm not sure timing on that one.

Thanks for the quick reply, Erik! Glad to know this is being addressed now and will be fixed in the short term.

The option to deactivate this "feature" would be the best option until a proper fix is released.

Any update on this?  We're going through a global website migration this weekend that will require us to change the links in our email and landing page footers - resulting in us having re-approve a massive number of emails and landing pages.

Contact support to switch back to the old functionality. For now this is a relatively quick and easy fix.
Good luck

I was told by support it isn't possible to switch back to the old functionality. This was not fixed in the January release.

Getting parts of this resolved were more complicated than we thought, it will be fixed in the Feb release. Adam, there is a way to turn it off- email me (erik@marketo.com) and I'll help you out.

Just saw the February release was up, and this was the very first thing I checked. I've been putting off landing page template changes just because it takes so long to reapprove everything with this "feature" enabled. Very disappointed to find that not only is pagination still there, still with no option to increase the number of items per page, but now I'm unable to sort the "approved" column at all. The problem is now somehow worse than it was on Friday. Any timeline on putting a real fix in place?
