Global Seed Address

Global Seed Address

allow an admin or user to add their email address to a "global seed list" so that every email sent from within their marketo account gets a seed copy - vs. adding it each time on a campaign-by-campaign basis

This is a great enhancement idea, and something that many of the other platforms already have (like Silverpop and Eloqua). Would definitely like to see this feature added to Marketo!

I agree, having a method to include something more automatically is really needed, as we are growing more and more people are doing the email sends and seed lists are going to be really tough to manage without automation.

This is really a requirement for all enterprise customers. With large marketing teams spread out over several countries we need people to be in the loop of what's being sent.

Agree! This is something that would make my life alot easier. Currently we are having to create a second send campaign for each email in order to opt the seed list out of communication limits to make sure our internal folks get everything.

Also agree for all reasons above, especially as an enterprise customer. This is a standard feature for ESPs so I was surprised to not see it when we came on-board.

Completely agree! This is a much needed functionality update.

Great idea!  Would also add that seed list related sends should both not be counted toward communication limits AND ignore communication limits.

We are constantly adjusting our Comm Limits when we add seed lists via static lists to ensure seed list members get the email.

Totally understand that drip nurture campaigns don't make sense to have seeds happening at a global level because seeds could receive hundreds of emails/day in that scenario... But batch&blast campaigns to specific smart lists scheduled to deploy at a specific time should absolutely be able to tap into and seed a global list without the email manager needing to remember to add them via smart list every time. Please consider adding this!!
