Email editor 2.0: support tokens in the preheader

Email editor 2.0: support tokens in the preheader

The new preheader feature (in email properties dialog) does not support tokens. It would be great if it could.

Greg, what client is it not working for you in, what experience do you see, I use Text tokens and it works for me in Gmail. I double checked to see if it supported Rich Text tokens too and get the same experience, happy to test more:

HI Frank,

This is not supported and cause some errors... See this: Problem with Lead.First Name Token in an email Preheader

Thanks Greg, I rechecked and you're correct {{lead. tokens don't work, but the unfortunate thing is that normal tokens do work for me in Gmail, but if Justin confirms that tokens don't work I may remove as I'm only rolling out new tokenized templates and still am testing.

I have an enhancement ticket filed for this. I'll update you when I know more about the ETA.

Has this ever been addressed? We are encountering the same issue in our organization now.
