Clone Program / Create new Landing Page URLs

Currently cloning a program gets you 50% of the way to a clean URL. If the program was properly created, then the landing page URL will be clean when you clone it. ie ProgramName_PageName.html

However, if you edit the Program Name or the Landing Page name. And THEN clone the program. You will get an amalgamation of the two program names in the cloned landing page's URL. ie ProgramName1_ProgramName2_PageName.html

This looks really ugly, so when someone's messed up the program by changing it's name or it's landing page's name. I then have to go through and clean up each URL.

Suggestion:  When Cloning a program, ignore the previous Landing Page URLs and make clean fresh URLs with ProgramName_PageName.html schema.

Examples:
Clean Name:

/CaseStudyCarglassUS_1RegistrationPage.html

Dirty Name:

/ProductInfoPlanonAppsPSA_ProductLiteraturePlanonAcceleratorPSA_ProductLiteratureAssetSpecificLandingPage_Registration.html

Especially when it includes being able to select which template you want to use for the landing pages in the new program.

Odd. Does the original LP URL display as you'd expect (ProgramName2_PageName.html)? Also: excellent use of almalgamation!

I have a Registration & Confirmation page. Well I've been cleaning up all of the registration page URLs, but never thought about the confirmation pages until yesterday. I saw one with 7 different program names in the URL because of cloning.

So David, What I assume is happening is that we're changing the Program name after the program has been cloned. So we probably leave the Page Name the same each time, but likely there's a typo or a space inconsistency. That tiny modification, when it doesn't exactly match the first part of the URL, will just add it on to the beginning. Program3_Program2_Program1_PageName.html



Can anyone give me a use case as to why this would be a good idea to keep?

Great idea. PLEASE GIVE US THIS! Cloning also gives me anxiety for these reasons.
